From a distance it glows bright white and the closer you get, the intricate designs of the inlaid semi-precious stones and carvings in the marble become apparent. The artistic and engineering skills to create such a monument that has been standing completed since 1648, are impressive to say the least. This monument created because of the death of a loved one, is sad but beautiful.
